Big D's BBQ Smoked Cheeseburger Nachos - Quick and Easy Family Meal

Tired mom's need an easy meal the family will rave over. If you've eaten with us in the past you know that we love to put our spin on classic menu items and chef them up. We smoke our burgers low and slow to 165 degrees which is well done.
Time Saving tips: No smoker? No problem! Grill or brown your burger in the skillet. It's also a great recipe to used left-over burgers from the day before. Enjoy!!
Oooey gooey goodness that you've come to love from Big D's BBQ. This recipe is our twist on the classic nachos, perfect for busy people or a great sharable appetizer while watching your favorite game with friends.
Flatten out patty and shake on a generous amount of brisket rub seasoning.
Grill, smoke or brown the burger in a skillet. We smoke our burgers over pecan wood to reach the desired temp of 140 to 165.
Heat queso dip according to manufacturer's instructions. Set aside.
Chop onions, dice tomatoes into cubes and shred lettuce
ASSEMBLE
Place tortilla chips on a large serving tray.
Drizzle queso dip over chips
Top with bite size pieces of smoked burger, shredded lettuce, diced tomato, chopped onion.
Drizzle a thin layer of queso dip over the top and sprinkle with shredded cheese.
Add pickle to garnish and serve

While we smoke fresh in our restaurant, this is a great way to use burgers from a previous meal. This turns boring left overs into an amazing meal the family will enjoy.
